Grilled shrimp vermicelli is a delicious and popular dish in Vietnamese cuisine. It is very easy to make and has a unique delicious flavor. You can enjoy this dish at restaurants or make it at home with the following recipe:
- 500g fresh shrimp
- 500g fresh vermicelli noodles
- 1 purple onion
- 1 white onion
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 lime
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon seasoning powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Fish sauce, sugar, garlic, chopped chili, raw vegetables, cucumber, tofu
- Step 1: Prepare the necessary ingredients. After buying the shrimp, you wash them, remove the tails from the shrimp, peel the shells and keep the tails.
- Step 2: Put the shrimp in a bowl, mix well with sugar, fish sauce, seasoning powder, black pepper, and chopped garlic. Then let the shrimp marinate in the mixture for about 15 minutes.
- Step 3: Prepare a charcoal grill or gas grill to grill the shrimp. If you use a charcoal grill, put the shrimp on a bamboo tray and place it on the grill. If using a gas grill, you can use a pan to grill the shrimp.
- Step 4: When the shrimp turns golden, remove them from the grill.
